Note: For prolong usage, when exposed to higher water hardness concentrations, it is advised to provide a proper water treatment device for the incoming water to the coach. Hard water may lead to performance reduction of your appliance overtime.
Say goodbye to quick, military-style showers, refilling your tank, and waiting for the hot water to recover. This revolutionary design replaces your outdated tank heater and gives you the luxury of taking back-to-back showers, washing dishes, and running a load of laundry all at once. Unlike traditional tank heaters that require constant energy to keep your water hot, this tankless, propane-fueled water heater only uses energy when you turn on your faucet or shower, providing the ultimate efficiency at a campground or off-the-grid. The endless, on-demand hot water has no recovery time and is perfect if you're on the road full-time or traveling with a large group.
Has your warm and relaxing shower ever been interrupted by a cruel burst of ice-cold water? Perhaps you've been the victim of a scorching surge of hot water that scalds you and sends you dancing out of harm's way. Either way, it's the worst, but those days are over. Furrion's vortex technology is designed to eliminate those dreaded hot and cold water fluctuations by consistently mixing hot and cold water together to reach your desired temperature, ensuring those warm, comfortable showers.
This state-of-the-art technology is equipped with built-in safety measures to ensure you, your family, and your RV stay out of harm's way.
Its dual temperature sensors automatically shut off power if the water temperature exceeds 149 F, preventing the unit from overheating while also reducing the risk of hot water scalding. The unit also has a flame monitoring feature that cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out to prevent gas from leaking inside your RV and a built-in safety valve that allows pressure to vent at 87 psi to prevent excess pressure and heat build-up.
This tankless water heater features a control board to keep itself warm when temperatures drop. Freezing water can damage the unit, so an internal thermostat monitors water temperature and will turn the heat on automatically when it gets too cold. This feature will only work if the water heater is receiving power and gas. You will need to remember to winterize the water heater before storage over the winter.

Not sure if it could have been any easier! Did a little research and I installed two 12” flex hoses to the existing Pex hard plastic. I also extended the power and control wires where I could connect everything outside and complexly function test the unit outside. Beats crawling in the underbelly and fighting the tight workspace. Certainly would recommend this product!
Order came well packaged and quickly! Easily replaced my 12 gal suburban heater. I just installed yesterday, so I don't have much use on it yet but it has performed very well for our first couple of showers. We loved not rushing/ worrying about running out of water. Heats our 2.5 gpm showerhead to 110ish on oregon well water(50-55°)!
I bought this unit a year ago. It was the best thing i've bought for the camper. I would highly recommend it if your thinking about replacing the water heater.
The unit was easy to install and fit well in the original water heater space. The outside door fit nicely and the whole installation looks great. The hot water is never ending now and the system works well.
Once I finally got it installed it works perfectly. It's not a direct replacement for a suburban 12 gallon hot water heater. It takes a lot of modification to the hole that the old one came out of for this one to fit correctly and cover up the old hole.
On our trip to the West Coast it worked flawlessly. I have one for my travel trailer and one for my motorhome and I love both of them. I would highly recommend this product.
This product works as advertised. Installation is straight forward and fairly simple. We love never running out of hot water in our park model trailer. Etrailer is a top notch company that truly provides professional customer support and service. I highly recommend both.
Install went smoothly, directions were good and it has worked well on several trips. Thanks
Super fast delivery. Install took about 6 hours. Be prepared to frame in existing hole location as the new tankless WH is much smaller than the old 12 gallon electric/gas one. Thankfully, the new 18”x18” access door/panel covered everything. It would probably be a good idea to put a piece of sheet metal with lots of silicone caulking over the hole leaving a cutout for the new heater to slip right in, this will provide a nice water tight seal. The Furrion FR68SR seems to work as promised, we’ll see after some usage.
We bought this water heater to go in our 32 ft pull behind camper we use it all of duck season for the 22 23 season and it worked perfect I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to get rid of the tank style water heater and third grade to tankless water heater takes up less space and worked as it should we had no problems with it so far
Installed as a replacement for an old 6 gallon Atwood; huge improvement. Way less wasted gas and it could not be easier to set the desired heat.
The install was fairly straightforward, although the orientation of the inlet/outlet was different enough from the old unit that I had to redo the water lines. The sheet metal screws on the bottom also protrude beyond the bottom of the unit and I ended up shaving down the linoleum to get it to fit.
Heats fast & quiet. Much better than the original unit in my camper.
Product has been awesome, small learning curve about the propane line needed. We ended up dedicating a cylinder, line, and regulator to operate only the water heater so it is now separated from the furnace and stove. This prevented us from having to reengineer the lines.
I love it. It's the best investment I've made ever.. THANK YOU...

Still working as it should. No issues.
Great product, easy to install & looks great it replaced a 10 gal. Water heater. My wife loves the endless hot water.
Great product. Easy to install. Super customer support.
Outstanding water heater, it was a bit smaller so I had to take some 2x4s and 3/4 plywood to fill the gaps. Just to be clear on the installation I ran new wires to the battery with a fuse to be sure it it would have a full 12 volts. By getting this water heater we gained a 15 amp circuit, that I we will use for a dedicated plug for our pellet smoker. Sure is great to have hot water after a week with out.
The staff at etrailer are fantastic! They answered all my questions quickly. The whole order processing went smoothly and shipping fast. The installation of the new water heater went better than expected. I'm very pleased!!
I've only had this installed a few hours and all I can say is wow. Took a full 25 minute shower and it was fantastic. The folks from etrailer were great. I called with some questions and Will was great, he answered all my questions accurately and friendly. The free 2 day shipping was also great since my 2 year old Suburban water heater has started leaking. Everything about this transaction was awesome. I did have to frame in the opening to fit the tankless since it's a bit smaller without a tank. Some of the reviews say the water doesn't get hot enough, if your flow is to much then it will take a bit to get to temp. I have an adjustable pressure regulator and had to back it off to 50 psi. Plus, you don't need to crank your hot water all the way up, with these water heaters less is more. Turn your hot up enough to stream then regulate your pressure with the cold side. It's just a little different than a conventional water heater. Best money I've spent on my 5th wheel. Thank you etrailer.
It performs absolutely wonderful, the only glitch was the frame had to be fabricated to fit the rv frame
Simply stated, the unit has been functioning dependably since it was installed a year ago. I live in my 5th wheel and will have doing so for 3 years now. It's a Fleetwood Terry.
I absolutely have had no issues at all and I use it every day. When I first installed it, I couldn't get it to fire but the issue was low water pressure caused by the winter drain being just ever so slightly cracked open. Of course it was factory located in the most remote inconvenient spot. After that, it fired right up and has run daily ever since. Also note that I've been off the grid for the 3 years doing this so the water heater has run totally off of solar power from four 200watt panels and a Bluetti converter. Again, never an issue.
I don't run heat nor air conditioning. The Furrion is one of very few luxuries. Good appliance and very appreciative of it's performance!
Thanks for inquiring. I highly recommend the Furrion.

Of course the drain was in a spot like that, why would it be easy? Even though it was hard to get to, I'm glad that it wasn't anything major and sounds like it was a pretty easy fix. It's also awesome that you are keeping to the basics and able to live totally off grid and with just solar. Are you moving around a lot or stay in one place for a long period of time?

I received this in less than 24 hours after ordering. Fantastic service.
First trip after installing this water heater. What a difference having unlimited hot water! Installation was fairly straightforward but did require some fabrication- using some 2” aluminum L stock to reduce size of hole in sidewall and making a support for the water heater in the cabinet. Very happy with this water heater

This is probably the best upgrade I’ve made to my 5th wheel. It has worked flawlessly for a year now. No wait time on showers for multiple people and no worries about running out of hot water. It’s been well worth it
